about me
Thank you for visiting my page.

My name is Dionysia and I am a scholar-practitioner. I direct, write and sometimes draw. I am the founder of Resilience DTC, a dance theatre company that focuses on mental health through performance research.

I am interested in the intersection of performing arts, applied phenomenomenology, and medical humanities. I spend most of the time researching suffering and how it affects our body and mind. Since 2020, I have started implementing digital technologies in my research, experimenting with remote directing.
I call my approach phenodramatic as it employs phenomenology and psychophysical methods to redefine naturalistic acting and performance.

I cherish every opportunity to work with scholars, artists, industry professionals, scientists and students from diverse backgrounds.
Drop me a line, I’m excited to hear from you.
